adidas today unveils the latest iteration of Futurecraft 4D: an all-white design that cuts through the noise and provides zero distractions for the wearer. Using years of athlete data, Futurecraft 4D is shaping the future of sport with its first 3D-printed midsole, designed to evolve the athlete forever.
This highly anticipated drop combines the shoe’s distinctive Primeknit upper with its signature heel counter and lace cage, alongside the innovative 3D-printed adidas 4D midsole lattice. The result is a shoe which delivers precisely tuned cushioning and support, exactly where the athlete needs it.
The adidas 4D lattice midsole was developed using years of athlete data. It’s 3D printed to help deliver precisely tuned support and cushioning right where it’s needed.
Charlotte Heidmann, Product Manager, Futurecraft 4D, said:“Futurecraft 4D was our first 3D printed shoe back in 2017 and since then has been a fundamental part of our 4D range, driving excitement and showcasing the possibilities of this technology. Being one of our most iconic and innovative products, the new all-white colourway combines a classic look with our industry-leading midsole innovation.
“adidas 4D really is the future of performance running and a revolution in how we create footwear. This new drop brings this technology to the fore, providing the athlete with a shoe that not only provides amazing comfort through the Primeknitupper and 4D lattice midsole, but which looks incredible too.”
Futurecraft 4D is available now in limited quantities from 7 September in selected countries via the adidas app, adidas.com and selected retailers.
